I recently had the pleasure of being a guest on GitBar, the Italian podcast by Mauro "Brainrepo" Murru. In episode 228, titled "Non toccate quel tag!" (Don't Touch That Tag!), we had a long and fun conversation about web performance — from Core Web Vitals to image optimization, from the infamous Interaction to Next Paint to the silent damage of Google Tag Manager.
We also touched on some nostalgic topics like Flash, Dreamweaver, and MySpace, and talked about how AI tools like Claude are starting to help with performance analysis. It was a blast!
